Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Harvey, LA. This contract position runs through the current school year, providing teletherapy services to students within a school district in the New Orleans area.
Responsibilities include delivering teletherapy sessions to students in grades K-12, collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in team meetings to support student progress.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license in Louisiana and full licensure in the state of residence
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in school-based settings, specifically within Louisiana schools
- Proven experience delivering teletherapy and telespeech services
- Successful completion of a technical screening
- One professional reference on file
This position requires availability for full-time work, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar with 35 hours per week (7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
